This well-respected law firm sought to modernize its space with 360-degree views of the Puget Sound and bring in some Pacific Northwest flavor. The project was designed and constructed within 12 months. The lighting design contrasted the wood with other textures in the space to create a welcoming environment. As the first spaces clients experience in Baker Hostetler’s office, the design needed to make a memorable impression. Backlit stretch fabric fixtures make that impression by dominating the ceiling in the elevator lobby and reception, making the space feel as if it is under a bright sky instead of sandwiched between floors of a downtown high rise.
