The goal of this project was to freshen and modernize the main lobby and entrances of an office building in Cambridge. Featuring multiple layers of light, the design included a backlit map of the city as a focal point; cove lighting concealed along the base of a wooden wall, leading visitors to the elevator lobby; and direct/indirect wall sconces illuminating vertical surfaces. Additionally, retrofit downlights were carefully coordinated to fit in the existing ceiling and provide adequate illumination.
