The project included the construction of a 245,000 sq ft single story tensile fabric structure with a 10,000 sq ft mezzanine space on the end of the building. The project’s construction type presented unique challenges and opportunities in the lighting design as the structure created a large volume with limited mounting locations. The indirect lighting was key to make the structure feel light and airy. An extremely short construction schedule and reduced budget provided an additional layer of complexity as all fixtures and controls had to be readily available.
