GAF is North America’s largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer of commercial and residential roofing materials in the U.S. Windward assisted with the relocation of 10-15 of their buildings in Wayne, New Jersey into a single 375,000 SF facility in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Windward provided MEP engineering as well as fire protection and fire alarm design services for GAF’s new LEED-certified headquarters. Existing MEP systems were demolished and redesigned, including specialty lab hoods, ventilation, compressed air, and a nitrogen system. New cooling towers for all existing pumps were provided, and a new process chiller design and a repurposed existing generator provided infrastructure design for the new cafeteria.
