Windward provided MEP and fire protection engineering services for a 60,000 SF addition to the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. The project includes an MRI, CT, PET, CT, Simulator, Linear Accelerator, Cyberknife, HDR, radiation therapy, exam rooms, diagnostic services, physician’s offices, and shell space for future fit-out. Windward was responsible for the development of the facility infrastructure to support this building expansion including upgrades to the facility’s primary electrical service and new central heating and cooling plants. Additionally, Windward coordinated utility requirements for all specialty imaging equipment including the MRI, CT, Simulator, Linac, Cyberknife, and other radiation services including mammography, ultrasound, and HDR.
