Temple University’s School of Architecture building is comprised of four levels and a mechanical penthouse on the roof, as well as a lobby area with an atrium between the first and second level. The building includes various architecture teaching departments such as laser cutting/clean digital, digital fabrications, and spray room. The facility also includes a wood shop, general support facilities, and administrative spaces.

Windward was responsible for the design of general ventilation/HVAC systems, electrical power, and distribution systems which include accommodation for heavy power and data requirements, and fire protection and fire suppression systems following the latest codes in coordination with the Temple University Technical Standards and Guidelines. Additionally, Windward coordinated the University’s in-house security and telecommunications design and incorporated the systems with the overall construction documents.
