The Tyler School of Art includes a 225,269 SF building at Temple University’s main campus. The building comprises three levels and a basement as well as an Open Lobby area with an Atrium between the basement and the second level. The building includes various arts teaching departments, classrooms, administrative and support facilities, computer labs, student exhibition/gallery space, a student cafeteria, and ancillary space for various art departments.
Windward provided the design of general ventilation/HVAC systems, electrical power and distribution Systems which include accommodation for heavy power and data requirements, and fire protection and fire suppression systems. Additionally, Windward coordinated the University’s in-house security and telecommunication design and incorporated these systems with the overall construction documents.
