The National Constitution Center comprises of a museum that joins two of the nation’s symbols of freedom – Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The 285,000 SF facility was constructed as part of the master plan redevelopment of Independence Mall. The Center includes educational and administrative functions, food service, and a gift shop. Public parking spaces are available as well as a bus loading/unloading area that service the Independence National Historical Park. An underground maintenance/storage facility is operated by the National Parks Service.

Windward provided MEP engineering as well as fire protection and telecommunication services for this museum honoring the U.S. Constitution. Telecommunications systems include a thoroughly interactive web site and comprehensive presence through the Internet, programming for school children and television and radio systems.
