Terminal E Expansion
The project involved 100,000 SF of new construction and 70,000 SF of renovation to provide four additional gates, increase associated hold room and operations space and provide expanded ticketing and baggage screening facilities to comply with new TSA requirements for EDS screening of all outbound baggage. The project included the expansion of an existing boiler/chiller plant. Engineering services continued through all phases of construction.
US Airways Express Terminal F
Windward provided mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for a new 38-gate commuter terminal at Philadelphia International Airport. The project included the construction of approximately 190,000 SF of new passenger hold room, concourse, concession, and airline operations space.
