Govans Elementary is part of the Baltimore City Public Schools that serves Pre-K through Fifth Grade students. Windward provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm engineering as well as lighting design, commissioning, energy modeling, value engineering, and sustainable design. We provided the design for the new administrative offices, student support services, community space, gymnasium, specialty classrooms, and cafeteria/kitchen. Also assisted in achieving LEED Certification for this 100,800 SF new charter school.
