The goal of this project was to freshen and modernize the main lobby and entrances of an office building in Cambridge. A recurring theme of the design was a map of the city. The lighting design reinforced this theme, from the backlighting of translucent wall panels and an information desk to the wash of light across a soaring CNC-milled map that covered the ceiling and multiple vertical surfaces. Other spaces in the scope included restrooms, a basement lobby at the parking level, and façade lighting at the main entry doors.
