The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center is a large exhibition center and indoor arena with connected exhibit halls, and meeting rooms. The first hall was built in 1934, followed by numerous expansion programs. Today, the facility has 24 acres under one roof, and it is the largest agricultural exhibition complex in the U.S.
Windward updated the complex with art deco-themed door frames, signage, and finishes to create a unique homage to Pennsylvania Heritage. We upgraded the existing meeting rooms above Maclay Street Lobby and the entire voice/fiber optic backbone cabling system for the entire complex.
Upgrades to the entire voice/fiber optic backbone cabling system involved the replacement of the existing finishes and the installation of meeting room technology. This includes internet access, conference calling capabilities, voice amplification, and digital projector capability. The four existing conference rooms were re-purposed and named the “Keystone Conference Center”, linked to Maclay Street Lobby by an elevator.
The amenities, including brick paver sidewalks, decorative bollards, parking lot lighting, and accessibility, were integrated into the existing site and building upgrades.
